Limba wood comes from West Africa. In the United States, it is called Korina. Limba has a light yellow colour and is easy to work by hand or machine. The grain is straight to slightly wavy with a coarse grain. Colour difference between core wood and sapwood is minimal. This wood is widely used by acoustic guitar builders, among others.
