Katalox

Katalox has a beautiful purple-brown colour with a white sapwood. When freshly cut, this wood can have a red, pink colour and later it turns dark. The species is related to legume species and the habitat of this tree very small. Mexico and the northern part of South America. The wood was widely used in instrument making but scarcity has reduced its use. Our supply is also limited, so be quick!
