Sealing wood with CeraSeal

CeraSeal is an “end sealer” and is used to prevent the end edges of your wood from cracking through drying. CeraSeal is a wax emulsion with paraffin. This end sealer can be applied directly to green wood. When dried, it forms a sealing flexible film. This prevents the wood from drying faster at the ends than in other areas. This prevents cracks. I use it when I only want to protect a few blocks. For larger batches, I use paraffin beads.

Instructions for use

Apply with a brush to the end grain wood. Apply enough, do it a second time if necessary. Brushes can be cleaned with water. Store frost-free.

Available in 1 litre or 5 litre containers.
