With this sanding/polishing fleece, sanding becomes a whole new experience. Abrasive fleece is a kind of “wool blanket” that easily adapts to the contours of the object to be sanded. It was first made for the automotive industry, but soon the convenience and durability of this type of grinding was discovered in other areas as well. I use it a lot when finishing my products. After mechanical sanding up to grit 320, I use (after the first layer of oil has dried) sanding fleece and then I oil again. When that layer has hardened I go with the next grit abrasive pad, followed by another coat of oil and finally I polish with 1000 grit abrasive pad.

Abrasive fleece is available in 240, 400, 600, and 1000 grit

Tip:

don’t order more than you will use in 2 years time. If the non-woven abrasive is not stored under the good conditions, it will lose its firmness and strength after about 3 years.
