Description

Hampshire Sheen White Wax.

Hampshire Sheen Whit Wax is a variant of a traditional wax, contains titanium dioxide to add “highlights” to wood with open pores, such as oak and ash. It leaves a nicely nuanced “white wash” effect behind on your workpiece. After turning, sanding and possibly pickling, clean the grain with a preferably copper brush and rub the wax with a dry cloth with circulating movements in the wood grain. Wait until the white wax is dry and then rub the wax that is not in the pores of the surface with a clean dry cloth. You can still finish it with Hampshire Sheen Microcrystalline or High Gloss for a brighter, harder finishing. The Carnauba and Microcrystalline waxes are tough and abrasion resistant. The workpieces are after drying resistant to fingers and splash water only for decorative wood. White embellishing Wax is available in pots with lid of 60 g.

Finishing.

Yorkshire Grit is often preparing for finishing with Hampshir Sheen.  In the film below, Martin Saban-Smith shows that again. [Embed] https://www.youtube.com/watch? v = N8h3tu4GtyE [/embed]
