Santos Rosewood is a hard, dense heavy wood type with a decorative drawing. The wood is reasonably editable and well run. Because the wood has a dense structure it can be very smoothly finished. The core wood is light red to brown, the spider wood is white. The combination of core wood and sapwood can combine very nicely in a workpiece. If you need other dimensions please contact us. Wood is a natural product and every piece of wood is different. The wood in the photograph is intended as an example and will never be exactly the same as the piece that is sent. Wood can sometimes contain a small tear or an old worm hole. The wood is sealed with paraffin wax.
