EVOGuard face shield from JSP

This visor is for the EVOLite helmet and EVOGuard headband. What makes this visor different from our other masks is that it is made of thicker polycarbonate. It meets the safety standard EN 166 & EN 170. EN 166 is the standard that deals with the force of impact. In this case, that a 6 mm, 0.86 g ball can be fired at it at a speed of 685 km/h (in combination with the helmet). EN 170 indicates the this visor blocks UV rays. The visor comes with an extra set of mounting legs so you can use it with or without earcaps in combination with the EVOLite helmet or headband. There is a hinge point in the legs so you can flip the visor up without taking off the helmet or headband.
Despite the thickness of the polycarbonate, the visor does not give the wearer a distorted image and therefore falls under class 1, Optical. The visors are coated with an anti-scratch and anti-fog layer.
