Crown 244AW. A wafer-thin parting tool, which is suitable, among other things, for clean parting off of workpieces without much material loss. Paper thin (1.6 mm) but still stable due to its height.

In use

This tool is mainly used when there is little space to cut off the workpiece. But also if you make a box and you want to cut off the lid, for example. If the grain has to run through, you would like to remove little wood when parting. Then you use the Crown 244AW.
