Final mandrel

The Finial Mandrel from Planet Rotur is a rotating center point for supporting long, thin workpieces with a very small diameter. The 3 interchangeable inserts have 3mm, 4.5mm and 6mm mounts.

The inserts are made of nylon. By clamping it in the lathe you can adjust the shape with an chisel. And you can use individually turned holders and mandrels.

So:

• For stabilizing delicate workpieces – finials
• MK2 cone, for mounting in the tailstock
• Nylon inserts with 3 mm, 4.5 mm and 6 mm mounts
