Stronghold chuck
The stronghold is Oneway's heaviest chuck. The diameter of the body is approximately 13 cm. This 'heavy duty chuck' is designed for super grip on larger workpieces. The chuck comes standard with ribbed No. 2 jaws, a worm screw and an adapter for the spindle of your lathe. Select the thread of your lathe from the pulldown menu.
Oneway Stronghold chucks:
- are made of high quality steel.
- have 'nickel plated' bodies.
- have hardened mounting jaws and gears
- have 'manganese phosphate' coated keys, for a pleasant grip and against rust.
- with single-hand operation of the gear wrench.
- have the patented Over-Extension Safety System. This ensures that the jaws do not come loose from the body during work.
- are supplied as standard with the universal ribbed jaws number 2.
- are supplied as standard with a heavy worm screw.
- Robust design. The different parts can take a beating
To give the Stronghold chuck a permanent place when it is not on the lathe, there is a handy attribute available.
Choice of other jaws
Various jaws are available for the Stronghold chuck. Click here for an overview of all jaws.
- spigot jaws - small turning work
- No. 3 and No. 4 jaws - for bowls and vases. These jaws can be supplied both smooth and ribbed.
- No. 5 and No. 6 jaws - for large bowls. These jaws can be supplied both smooth and ribbed and are made of aluminium
- Jumbo jaw - for finishing the bottom of dishes, for example.
- flat jaws - to create your own formd jaw
The Stronghold jaws and the Talon jaws are not interchangeable.
