Zebrano
Zebrano is a striking type of wood due to its markings. The contrasting stripes in the wood make it ideal for decorative purposes. Knobs, handles, but you can also come across it in car interiors. It is a solid, strong wood with a moderate to coarse grain. The wood turns well and cuts reasonably well.
Zebrano wood belongs to the family Leguminosae and originates from West Africa. If you buy a log there, ask for Zingana. The wood is also sold as Zebra wood.
