CBN honing jig
The CBN honing jig is a steel plate with very fine CBN granules that leave a polished surface. Because of its ingeniously simple design for almost all gouges, the honing jig is an ideal tool to get rid of the grinding burr, no matter how small. The steel is 145 mm long and 47 mm wide. On one side there is a radius of 2.7 mm and a radius of 6 mm on the other side. As a result, all the flutes can be honed. For the honing of flat chisels and the outer surface of the gouges, you obviously use the flat part of the plate. An important advantage of the CBN honing plates is that they always have the same shape and an unprecedented lifespan! A stone wears and changes form.
