This Vicmarc vacuum adapter is made for the Vicmarc models: VL240 and VL300. The adapter is compatible with the connection setand the vacuum chucks from Oneway. The adapter is screwed into the back of the spindle stock with an M16 thread. This means you have minimal air pressure loss and the adapter is firmly secured while turning. So no hassle with loose rubber rings. Vicmarc is known for solid products and good design. This adapter is a good example of that.

If you want to vacuum clamp a workpiece, it is important that the walls are not too thin. If they are too thin, the bottom may be torn out of your workpiece. Your wood must be dry, wet wood or oiled wood can completely destroy your vacuum pump. Always use the largest possible chuck for your workpiece and check the condition of the closing band. When it gets older, it can become porous and cause dangerous situations.
