Stratos XL
The new STRATOS XL, beast with precision...
The new Stratos XL is the result of a number of German lathe developers who wanted to create a heavy, stable, quiet and precise machine. The machine can handle heavy pieces, but can also turn pins!
Versatility at an affordable price!
A few highlights of the STRATOS XL
- The 325 kg heavy machine is completely constructed from cast iron components.
- A 3 HP (2.2 KW) motor is strong and quiet.
- The head is sliding and rotatable. There is always a comfortable position to work in.
- High precision. (A double cone pin is included for careful alignment.)
- The driving belt can be divided over 3 pulleys. This ensures all combinations between 'a lot of power' and 'high speed'.
- No fewer than 7 places available to hang an (optional) outside swing device or bed extension.
- The spindle in the tailstock can be turned out by up to 150 mm.
- 28 cm distance between the bed and the spindle, max. turning diameter 56 cm (without external turning device).
- The sliding head allows you to work with diameters of up to 1 meter!
