A Complete Set for Sharpening Your Chisels on the Lathe
A complete set to sharpen your chisels and gouges on the lathe. With this, you can sharpen all your woodturning chisels. Everything is included except the grinding/CBN wheel. The adapter for mounting the grinding wheels on the spindle is designed specifically for these cbn wheels.
The set includes:
- Adapter to screw the CBN wheel onto the lathe spindle
- JIG holder that can be placed in the tool rest
- Platform jig – for sharpening skew chisels and scrapers
- Flat chisel and roughing gouge jig
- Fingernail grinding jig

Why sharpen on the lathe?
There are several reasons why you might want to sharpen on the lathe. The most common one is that woodturners working on-site want to sharpen their tools wherever they are. Another reason is simply a lack of space in the workshop to fit a separate grinding machine.
