Fingernail Grinding Jig
That’s handy! A grinding aid for sharpening fingernail profiles on chisels. You use this jig for your bowl gouge and profile gouge. It fits on the platform holder with tool post but also on all Tormek grinding machines and Koch grinding machines. The jig is made of steel and brass, so no cheap plastic bearings.
How does it work?
Simple. Secure your chisel in the jig and always let the same length of the chisel protrude from the jig. Slide the jig over the 12 mm rod and let the small bearing on the inner tube run along the brass edge of the outer part. This way, you create the same profile every time.
