Stronghold chuck (body only)
The Stronghold 'heavy duty chuck' is designed for super grip on larger workpieces.
This is the heaviest chuck from Oneway. The diameter of the body is approximately 13 cm. The chuck comes without jaws or wormscrew.
Thread Adapter
Note: This four-jaw chuck requires a separate thread adapter. You can find it here: Stronghold insert. Without this adapter, the chuck will not fit your lathe.
If you have a CARP lathe, a Stratos, or a Killinger lathe, your thread size is M33 x 3.5 mm. That is the most common thread size in Europe.
Oneway Stronghold chucks:

Choice of jaw
There are different jaws available for the Stronghold chucks. Click here for an overview of all jaws.
- Spigot jaws - small turning
- No. 3 and No. 4 jaws - for bowls and vases. These jaws can be supplied both smooth and ribbed.
- No. 5 and No. 6 jaws - for large bowls. These jaws can be supplied both smooth and ribbed and are made of aluminium
- Jumbo jaw - for finishing the bottom of dishes, for example.
- flat jaws - to create your own formd jaw
The Stronghold jaws and the Talon jaws are not interchangeable.
