Hampshire Sheen Bronze
Hampshire Sheen Bronze
This Hampshire Sheen bronze wax is a variation of a traditional wax, but bronzes to add "highlights" to open-pored wood such as oak and ash. It leaves a beautifully nuanced "bronze wash" effect on your workpiece. After turning, sanding and possibly staining, clean the grain with a preferably copper brush and rub the wax into the wood grain with a dry cloth in circular motions. With open-pore wood, you can also smear it into the pores only. Wait for the bronze wax to dry slightly and then rub the wax that is not in the pores from the surface with a clean dry cloth. You can then finish it with Hampshire Sheen Microcrystalline or High Gloss for a brighter, harder finish. The carnauba and microcrystalline waxes are tough and abrasion-resistant. Once dry, the workpieces are resistant to fingers and splash water Only for decorative wood.
Bronze-Wax is available in jars with lids of 60 g.
