Buy it with your lathe, or customize it later. The external turning device is screwed to the leg construction with four bolts. The holes are already in the lathe as standard. A 1.5" solid steel bar stands upright on the floor and has a socket at the top to hold the tool rest of your choice (sold separately). A hinged arm is easy to move and keeps the stand in place. If you want, you can rotate a table top up to 1.5 meters. The Outboard Turning Attachment can be used without having to remove the Tilt-Away. When ordering an outside turning device, we need the desired center height (from the floor) of your lathe to make the upright the correct length.
