Aquares by Revivo

AQUARES i is a food contact approved, very clear, fast curing epoxy resin. This epoxy resin has UV stabilizers added and is used for making epoxy pen blanks,  table tops, filling holes, waterproofing cups, etc.... You can apply this two-component Aquares epoxy as a hard waterproof finishing layer or pour it to a layer thickness of up to 1.5 cm. This epoxy dries quickly, your processing time is approximately 15 minutes. The mixing ratio is by weight and is 100 (A): 50 (B). After about 24 hours it is completely hardened and ready to be processed into a piece of jewelry, pen or lid. Aquares is dust dry after 5 to 6 hours and fully hardened after 24 hours.

Food safe

Once the Aquares has hardened for 48 hours, it may come into contact with food. it is resistant to (hot) water, alcohol and vinegar. See below for the report.

Processing

Make sure you process the epoxy in a clean, dry room with a temperature of at least 15 degrees Celsius. The mixing of the two components is done on a weight basis. Stick to the prescribed proportions as precisely as possible. This improves hardening. Once you have prepared the epoxy you have about 15 minutes to process it. Make sure that all the parts you are working with are approximately  have the same temperature. And keeps dust away while curing. Due to its low viscosity, Aquares is easy to apply with a brush, for example. If you want a higher viscosity, use Ecoat.
