The Tilt Away is the easiest way to get rid of the tailstock of the lathe. With this option on the American Beauty and the Sweet Sixteen, removing the tailstok does not take any effort anymore. An optional gas shock ensures that the whole can be tilted with one finger. And going back up is just as easy. Without the gas shock, the tilt is a lot heavier.
