This Swing Away bed extension fits the CARP 1824 and ensures that you can conveniently fold the tailstock away from the lathe bed. Most systems turn the tailstock horizontally away, which means that they are usually still in the way. This Swing Away ensures that the tailstock is really gone. Disappeared under the lathe bed.
