Additional information about the woodturning courses
Workshop and training room
Early 2016 the workshop was converted into a workshop annex course room. There are at least 7 lathes at all times so that each student has his own lathe. These courses are also announced on Facebook and in the newsletter (you can register at the bottom of this page).
To be kept informed of the course offering, click HERE on 'like'. There are different courses. A basic course, bowl turning, threading and hollow turning. If you want to participate in one of these workshops and it says "sold out" on the site, you can enter your email address. Then you will receive a message if someone cancels and I will send you a message when your workshop or course is scheduled again! Furthermore, there will occasionally be guest woodturners to give a workshop.

What lathes are used for the classes?
On a number of different lathes. All these lathes are among the top in their price range. Interesting if you are considering buying a lathe but are still unsure about which one to buy. The lathe branches are Oneway, Robust, Vicmarc en Stratos.
Do I have to bring tools?
No, that is not necessary. Of course it is allowed, if you want to sharpen them, or want advice… But all tools and wood are present.
Can I stay overnight somewhere nearby?
Sure! In the historical town of Doesburg is a hotel but also beautiful B&Bs. Also beautiful is the tourist Zeddam on the edge of the Montferland.

Can I park a camper somewhere?
There are a number of camper spots nearby:

How big is a group?
A group usually consists of a maximum of 6 people.
Is it dangerous?
No. Nevertheless, we take a number of precautions. Every student wears face protection behind the lathe. Remove rings or necklaces and do not wear flapping clothing or shawls.
I it fun?
Yes.
Can I also get private lessons?
Yes, that is possible! If you want to absorb as much information as possible in 1 day, or have specific questions or problems, private lessons can be a good solution. The costs for a day of private lessons are € 395,– for the first person and € 55,– for each additional person. (minimum 3 maximum 6). To schedule an appointment, please contact by mail of telephone.
