European ash crossgrain wood

Ash wood is a flexible, tough and strong wood. For this reason, stairs, tool handles and chairs and stools are often made of it. Ash wood is excellent for turning and easy to work with. Ash is normally white, but discoloration can occur in the center of the tree (Nice Brown). The timber salesman then calls it olive ash.
