Black Locust Rough turned bowls
Black Locust bowls.
Pre turned from freshly cut wood and then dried. These bowls are available in 3 sizes. The 'rough' bowls are slightly oval, dry and still need to be turned and finished. The wall thickness is about 10% of the diameter. The photos show a number of random bowls from the stock.
Sizes
Sizes are approximate. These are the measurements when coring the bowls. After drying, the dishes are slightly deformed and the sizes are therefore slightly different.
1 - diameter 25 cm, high 9 cm
2 - diameter 35 cm, high 13 cm
3 - diameter 45 cm, high 18 cm
