Handy if you want to know if it's already in the stove, but a wood vochtigheidsmeter is also useful to know if the wood is already ready to finish! You can measure (if possible) on the wood. Simply press the 2 pins in the wood and you know. These 2 pins are shielded by a lid that is used again to calibrate the meter. The meter operates on a 9 volt batteries and is economical.
