Workshop Hollow Shapes.
Phil Irons is a professional wood-turner in England. He makes beautiful vases and hollow shapes. On 6 and 7 September 2019 he teaches a workshop/course in which he shares as much of his knowledge as possible with the participants. His work can be found here.
This 2 day workshop is for anyone who wants to learn more about hollowing, design, colouring andfinishing. One of the hardest things when hollowing is to achieve a constant wall thickness. Phil will tell his tips and tricks. When your shape is ready, Phil tells about the different ways of sanding and finishing that he uses. Of course, each participant has his/her own bank to which you are working on your own hollow form. And you’re sure to go home with a beautiful shape! Two days with Phil Irons, means many years of fun!
