Wood turning is incredibly fun to do. Especially if your technique is well mastered, it becomes more fun and fun! In this basic course wood turning you learn in 2 days all the techniques of wood turning, the carving wood turning. How do you make something around? Which chisels do you use and why? How do you sharpen your chisels? Wet wood/dry wood? What is a safe speed? Which wood do you use for? What is a good lathe? Sanding? At the end of the course you take your work piece (KEN) home. For starting wood turners 2 days intensive with wood turning are busy is a nice start to further build the hobby. For this course there is no experience in wood turning needed. Some experience with woodworking is a pré but not strictly necessary. Attention will be given to: • Selecting, using and sharpening the right tool. • Wood selection saw and drying. • Intersecting rotating between the centers. • How to reach the most beautiful finish.   In a small group you will get lessons from an experienced wood-turner and demonstrator.
