This set with Carp's chuck CC95 is the complete kit if you want to start woodturning. The heavy-duty self-centring chuck (95 mm diameter) has M33 x 3.5 threads tapped directly into the body. Thanks to the included jaw sets, you will have plenty of time to get started. Dovetail jaws (45 mm) for general work. A worm screw for clamping cross timbers and large dovetail jaws for clamping a bowl. The set also includes Jumbo jaws for turning the base of a bowl or finishing the underside of a platter. And pin jaws for when you need to grasp something really small. The screws that hold the jaws are made M6 and hardened to 12.9. So they don't wear out if you tighten them often. The back of the chuck features 2 divider discs. 1 x 24 steps and 1 x 36 steps. The spanner to open and close the jaws is a square key.
