Center and Counter Center
The Center and Counter center of this set has a centering point and a pressure ring. Thus, the workpiece is not turned because 4 teeth are pushed in but by the pressure on the center. This works very well and has the advantage for novice turners that it is a safe way. With a "hacker" the workpiece slips and will not jump out of the bench. For experienced Turners it also has advantages. The workpiece can be easily taken out of the bench and reversed again! Both centers have a Morse cone 2 for inclusion in the shaft.
