Long sharp
For the Mastercut bowl gouge, Oneway has added cobalt to the steel. This creates the steel called 2060 by Hamlet and Crown calls it Pro PM. It is a gouge that retains its sharpness for an extremely long time.
Grinding
When these gouges are delivered, they must first be sharpened. After all, every woodturner has their own favourite sharpening.... If you want me to sharpen a fingernail on it, for example, please indicate that when ordering.
Handle
These gouges come without a handle. This is nice because this way you can make your own easily recognisable handles and you won't miss out. You can also buy a ready-made handle to go with it. A beech handle, for example.
