Crown spindle gouge 13 mm ProPM
The Crown 237PMW spindle gouge is a detail or profile gouge made of sheffield ProPM steel. Ideal for profiling work in a workpiece between centres. The gouge is 13 mm wide and 17.5 cm long. The handle is 21.5 cm long . ProPM is a powder metallurgy. Very fine cobalt powder is added to the steel, creating a harder chisel without making the steel brittle. It is significantly different from regular HSS.
